Prep & Playgroup
18 – 35 months
At Kidz Kastle Preschool, we follow an integrated curriculum that imbibes the Play-way, Montessori, Reggio-Emilia, Waldorf and Multiple Intelligence pedagogies, for optimum empowerment of our children.
According to Professor Howard Gardener who has developed the Multiple Intelligences theory, educators should not follow one method of instruction. He asserts an amalgamation of several teaching designs enable the educator to personalize their teachings and assessments.
Nursery & Kindergarten
3 - 6 Years
Children can be enrolled in this sections after testing their levels. We follow a unique curriculum of Weekly Threads, weaved with Inquiry based learning & Creative expression following IB methodology.
The preschool syllabus is based on age and development of children. It is a blend of activities of individual and group activities, play and learning, child centered and teacher initiated activities.
1.5 - 7 Years
A specially designated area that caters to children of working parents, with one difference. Kidz Kastle offers a structured curriculum for children who enroll in our daycare, keeping in mind that learning is an ongoing process.
A variety of custom made programs, which take care of every parent’s need, and ensure active engagement for the child while they are here.
Extra curricular activities
3 - 7 Years
We offer wide range of extra activities for children suitable for their age groups from focusing on body and mind like: dance, yoga, chess, robotics and many more.
How Does Curriculum Further Progress?
The curriculum is completed over one academic year, considering the varied cultural holidays and festivals. It also helps us provide a 20 to 30 day buffer in order to facilitate teachers to cover the portion easily and ensure that the child’s conceptual knowledge is intact before the commencement of his/her formal schooling or going to next grade.
Each topic or theme targets language, numbers, social and emotional, creative and cognitive (concepts) skills. Apart from that, our curriculum includes suggestions for books to be read to the children, which can be used to enhance the moral development (Behavioral Attributes).
The curriculum clearly states the learning objective along with the resources required for each theme.
An assessment sheet is provided to the teachers to keep a track of the development of the children in their classroom, which in turn helps them to fill the progress report.
