How we teach
At KidzKastle (International Kindergarten in Bangkok) we believe in inquiry based learning and provide assessments and projects to enhance the practical knowledge of your child. We make them aware of day to day life extending from home to the world outside. Our aim is to make your child an all rounder in the aspects of academics as well as extra curricular activities. Your child shall become an independent individual who can make his/her decisions with a caring attitude towards one and all. Our focus is not just on elementary education but we also focus on practical, hands-on activities and creative play which helps in developing artistic expression and social capacities. Our aim is to develop inquisitive and morally responsible individuals equipped with a high degree of social competence. Our pedagogical theory considers that during the first years of life, Children learn best though unselfconscious imitation of practical activities in an environment conducive to learning.
KidzKastle will be a friendly and comfortable environment for your child to spend their early years in and learn excellent values and ethics. We celebrate events and festivals from all around the world to maintain cultural values and learn about different ethnicities. We have strict rules against racism and consider every person as an equal to the other. Our syllabus has been structured to take out the best potential in your child and make them confident individuals for their next phase.
We recognize that teaching is not just a one-size-fits-all mechanical process, it is an eventful and purposeful enterprise. We understand that every child is different and hence our approach is respect for each child.

How does curricullam further progress?
The curriculum is completed over one academic year, considering the varied cultural holidays and festivals. It also helps us provide a 20 to 30 day buffer in order to facilitate teachers to cover the portion easily and ensure that the child’s conceptual knowledge is intact before the commencement of his/her formal schooling or going to next grade.
Each topic or theme targets language, numbers, social and emotional, creative and cognitive (concepts) skills. Apart from that, our curriculum includes suggestions for books to be read to the children, which can be used to enhance the moral development (Behavioral Attributes).
The curriculum clearly states the learning objective along with the resources required for each theme.
An assessment sheet is provided to the teachers to keep a track of the development of the children in their classroom, which in turn helps them to fill the progress report.
Uniqueness of our curricullam:
Amalgamation of teaching methods like multiple intelligence approach, play way method and inquiry learning method (IB approach), where each child is allowed to bloom and learn in a carefree environment.
A balanced approach of active and passive play.
Based on hands-on approach to include multiple creative activities to be done with children to help them develop their fine and gross motor skills.
It includes a detailed description of the teaching aids and the teaching material to be used by the teacher.
Offers activities that includes parent’s involvement which aids in the holistic development of the child.
Use of teaching aids and toys.
We sow the seeds of curiosity, love for knowledge and the will to engage socially such that every student leaves us with a sense of identity and purpose in life.
